Along with Monday Wednesday and Friday posts, I’ll be doing a “Month of XXXXX” post, and compile everything I’ve posted in that month.

Now, from the top!

March 24th, 2017:

I’m going to start posting whatever I do on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, as a way to practice keeping a schedule. I won’t just make random sub-par content just to keep up with it though, no one likes that. If I have no decent quality posts to share, then I simply won’t share them. I’ll share my drawings within posts, and within the galleries tab.

Mostly messing around with the original brush I made, and some random character sketches. I’m personally pretty proud of the Link/Kindred sketch. I was just thinking how fitting it would be for Link to wear Lamb’s mask, even if he’s a male and Lamb a female.

March 27th, 2017:

Kindred and Link are two of my favorite characters. Or three characters? Whatever the number, I thought it would be interesting to see what would happen if Link were to put on one of the masks from Kindred, as he often did with other masks in the game “Legend of Zelda, Majora’s Mask,” which is also my favorite game.

I don’t know what to say for the coloring other than “I tried it.”

March 29th, 2017:

Still trying to get the “$5 sketch” examples done. I’m trying to get to a point that I can draw lots of pieces and still have them look like they were done in a similar fashion. I’ve never actually done sketching for the sake of having sketching pieces, I’ve mostly just used sketches as a base to continue off of for drawing.

Also trying out a new canvas size of 3000×4500, giving me 35 layers to work with.

I feel Like I’m getting pretty close to how I’d like “a sketch” to look.

(Also testing out auto posting on Twitter / Tumblr / Facebook, hehe)

March 31st, 2017:

I think, I have a good enough “$5 sketch” uuuuh feel, to make a few real examples now. I also tried relining the Kindred Link on a larger canvas, with a smaller brush just to see how it looked overall. For a while, I’ve been thinking the lines I use in inking are way too thick and distracting. With a larger canvas and smaller line, I think I’ve eliminated that issue.

(I’m also seeing how the website handles multiple galleries, hehe)

The character sketch of the woman is from a webcomic I like to read.

The flunky looking thug is a Team Skull grunt from Pokemon Sun / Moon.
